Our mission is to show our investors how to invest in tomorrow with confidence, today.

Founded in 2000 by Sydney stockbroker Angus Geddes, Fat Prophets was built on a simple belief: great investing comes from seeing what others don’t. Angus’ passion for investing started early — at just 11 years old, he turned $200 into over $35,000 by the time he was 16. Since then, he’s dedicated his career to uncovering opportunities others miss and helping investors grow their wealth with confidence.

From our headquarters in Sydney, and with a presence in the UK and New Zealand, Fat Prophets has grown into a globally recognised financial services brand. With a proven track record spanning over two decades, we deliver deep market insights, a global macro view, and a contrarian approach that helps our members invest in tomorrow, today.

Mission & Philosophy

At Fat Prophets, we’ve crafted a distinctive stock selection strategy designed to perform in any market. While most analysts focus on either fundamentals or technicals, we combine both — blending deep research with market timing to identify value where others don’t.

But we go further. Our global macro view spans equities, commodities, currencies, and bonds across major Western and Asian markets. We uncover the insights hidden within the information — giving our members a clearer perspective and access to opportunities the market often overlooks.
